Julien Marchal is a pianist, composer, producer and sound-designer rooted in independent music, whose work spans from delicate solo piano to electronic hybrid projects, and collaborations with artists and artisans
His approach explores space, texture and emotion, inviting listeners to linger in the in-between.
He will travel from Moscow to Los Angeles to perform his music.
His eclectic work and musical openness have led him to collaborate with international artists from a wide variety of genres, such as Robot Koch (IDM), Steve Aoki (EDM), Recue (Future Bass), and Ed Tullett (Pop/Folk), with whom he formed the band Lissom.

Lissom
In collaboration with British singer-songwriter and producer Ed Tullett (aka Lowswimmer), Lissom is a project that marries Julien’s minimalist piano with Ed’s falsetto voice and ambient instrumentation.
Their debut album (2018, on Whales Records) met rapid acclaim, cited by Billie Eilish as a favourite and featured in major US/UK television series (including titles such as The Blacklist) and distributed internationally.
Their follow-up album Eclipses (2022) deepened the collaboration despite distance, with rich instrumentation and refined sound.
Slumb
Julien also appears as part of Slumb, a duo with beatmaker Senbeï that ventures into electronica, trip-hop textures and ambient soundscapes. Their work bridges the organic piano worlds and beat-driven atmospheres.
