That’s the question I asked myself when I was starting out with no contacts, no instruction manual, just the need to create.
Before becoming a label director, I was — and still am — an artist.
I know what goes on behind the scenes, and I know that artists deserve better.
Every project I’ve worked on has taught me something about the music industry.
I’ve always tried to understand how to share music differently. Over time, I’ve put everything I learned from my own releases into building a label that reflects those values.
Whales Records is the sum of those experiences:
a space where music and business move forward together,
a collective that protects creative freedom,
and a movement working toward a fairer, more transparent music industry.
Today, I see Whales not just as a label, but as a community.
A place where artists support each other, exchange ideas, and grow together.
